Call Bushy’s on 0435 449 833 — we tow off Peninsula Link 24/7. Based in Somerville, right in the middle of the freeway’s run, so we reach most of the M11 within minutes. Get safe first, then call: we’ll come to you.
Safety first, tow second. If the car will still roll, get it onto the emergency stopping lane as far left as you can. Hazards on. If it’s safe to get out, exit on the passenger side and wait well behind the barrier — never stand behind or beside the car with traffic passing at 100. If you can’t get off the traffic lanes, stay belted in with hazards on and call us (and 000 if you’re in danger).
Then ring 0435 449 833. Tell us your direction of travel and the nearest exit or kilometre marker, and we’ll give you a straight ETA.
Cranbourne–Frankston Road, Skye Road, Golf Links Road, Bungower Road, Mornington–Tyabb Road, down to the Mornington Peninsula Freeway merge — our base in Somerville sits square in the middle of the corridor, so no end of the freeway is far away.
Loading a car from an emergency lane with traffic flying past is not a job for guesswork. We position the truck to shield the scene, work off the passenger side wherever possible, and get you and the car off the freeway quickly and safely.
Home, your regular mechanic in Frankston, Mornington or Somerville — your car, your call. See our full towing & transport services.
Peninsula Link has no dedicated freeway recovery service for private vehicles — you’re free to call any towing operator. If anyone’s hurt or the car is blocking a live lane, call 000 first. Otherwise call Bushy’s direct on 0435 449 833, any hour, and we’ll take it from there.
